We’re extremely sorry for the delays as well as the sudden stop of “Ask Boki”. Boki will answer your questions eventually, but right now I think people would rather us just work on the games instead so you can play it! Both “Ask Boki” and the catnip page will resume as soon as next release is out. In the meantime, I’ll take a look at any questions aimed at the developers, rather than Boki.
rusbojis asked: Is there a translation for those symbols that are used with the Halloween boss?
Everything you need to know to translate them is already in the game! You just have to be creative.
anonymous asked: Any plans on crossing over Copy Kitty with AWC?
They already do take place in the same universe, Zoincailla. There’s at least one character who will appear in both!

Lucky you, you must have passed by Raibys without even knowing it! Too bad we’re not actually celebrities or this would have been more interesting. On that note, someone else I know over the internet happened to pass by Raibys once too. The world is small sometimes!
anonymous asked: Not much of a question, as it is a suggestion. Please add an achievement for killing Arikan without taking the Astral Blade. It should allow you to choose the Astral Blade as your starting weapon everytime you start a level.
The ability to fight Arikan without Astral was never actually meant to be winnable, and it’s not really fun anyway. So, nothing will ever require that you do that. Although there’s no option to choose it for every level, next version’s Marathon Mode includes about 20 levels past Arikan - so you can carry Astral past the boss and use it for all of those if you want! (It does have limited ammo outside the boss fight, but it’s plenty, plus you could turn on the infinite ammo modifier)
rusbojis asked: What’s your favorite base weapon, double combination, and triple combination? Do you plan to add another base weapon/weapon slot?
Probably no more base weapons or slots will be added at this point. I was actually considering upgrading Flame from a solo weapon to a base weapon before, but I think it works a lot better as the Talisman - which kinda works like a fourth weapon slot anyway! (Although, for the record, adding an 11th base weapon would make 56 new weapons total, and adding a 4th slot would mean 210 new combinations!) As for favorite weapons, we both have a ton so this is really hard to decide, but here’s what we settled on:
- Azure -
Single: Probably Explode since it blows things up. (It’s a little faster next version, by the way, so it’s easier to aim now)
Double: Maybe it’s just cause it’s new, but I really love Flash Cut (Quick+Tornado). It’s just a really interesting weapon that’s useful for a lot of things, and can hit at weird angles.
Triple: This is the hardest! *after literally 15 minutes of staring at the weapon list* I think I would have to say Pixie Swarm (Force+Quick+Plasma), since it’s really basic in that you can just point at enemies and they die, but it’s a really neat variation on the normal weapons and it makes lots of pretty patterns. It actually gets more powerful as there are more enemies, which is one of the main themes of the entire game!
- Raibys -
Single: I picked Light because I’ve always liked electric-based powers in general, and this one has an awesome spread and respectable damage to back it up - plus it’s involved in several of my favorite combination weapons!
Double: Blade (Light+Quick) speaks for itself - it’s an energy sword. I picked this because it’s fun by itself, and also because I love every single weapon that it combines with - making it a great choice for me every time it comes up in one of my Endless runs.
Triple: Cavitation Cannon (Light+Plasma+Explode) combines three of my favorite things: lightning, laser beams, and explosions. When I have this weapon, I know that whatever I point it at is most likely going to die when I press the button, even if it’s a moving target and my aim was off. It’s also great for blasting through a ton of land that’s in the way!
So, next post will be an actual content post, and we have a few different possibilities for what it should be. They’re all related, and they’re all going to be in the next release, but YOU get to choose which one gets revealed here! So what do you want to know about the most: a mysterious cave painting, a magical metal, or a clock and its friends? Post in the comments!
